DO NOT BUILD WITH BGC (Smart Homes for Living).I feel compelled to issue a strong warning to potential customers considering Smart Homes for Living. My experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare, characterized by constant lies and broken promises. I strongly urge you to avoid them at all costs.Throughout the entire process, I have been subjected to deceptive practices and false assurances. At every stage, they would make empty promises, claiming that everything would be quick and easy once a certain milestone was reached. They would promise to find a tradie for a specific stage, only to repeat the same promise over and over again, without any meaningful progress.This pattern of deception and empty reassurances has been utterly frustrating. It is clear that SmartHomes for Living prioritizes making false commitments rather than delivering on their promises. They have demonstrated a complete disregard for honesty and transparency, leaving customers like myself feeling betrayed and taken advantage of.I implore you to steer clear of Smart Homes for Living. Save yourself the endless cycle of broken promises, delays, and frustration. Find a reputable company that values integrity and follows through on their commitments. Do not fall victim to the constant lies and deceptive practices of Smart Homes for Living (BGC).Please take this warning seriously and choose a trustworthy and reliable home construction company instead. Simply Put don't go near any BGC brand to build you a home. Absolutely incompetent

I built with Smart Homes from 2019-2020 and had a great experience, especially as a first home owner and builder. My consultant Omar K. was fantastic to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable moving ahead. He helped find the perfect block and took myself and my family on several trip to check out multiple display homes. We had a few hiccups during the building phase, which is to be expected, though they were resolved very quickly with great communication. Would definitely recommend Smart Homes and Omar!

Signed to build Jan 2021. Been over 2 years and still waiting for a roof. They fail to reply to emails and the two salesmen that signed me up simply stopped responding as soon as I signed. Apparently it’s because of nation wide shortages on materials and trades but it’s because smart homes (BGC) won’t pay the new pay rates for construction and a number of other issues with this company. DO NOT BUILD WITH THEM! It has been a nightmare.

Our experience with Smart Homes For Living has been nothing but incredible.We have had nothing but positive things to say about Smart Homes and the incredible service Jason has given us so far.No ask is to big or small with Jason and the work is always done straight away.Its a delight to be building through Smart Homes. This is our second build and by far the better of the two, we have pulled out all the stops with the build with the help of Jason.The quality of the products are just fantastic and the variety is more than we could have imagined.The cost is also very affordable for building considering the rise in cost.We look forward to continuing our experience with Smart Homes and with Jason, we cant wait to see the final result!

Highly recommend! Smart Homes will go above and beyond to help. Gordon was our salesman and he was amazing from the get go. Smart homes designed our house to fit the size of the block and with our changes it's amazing. This is our forever home, where we will raise our two young kids. Thank you Smart Homes!! We love it!

We recently moved into our newly built home by Smart Homes. We were assisted by Omar Khirzad who went above and beyond to answer all of our questions as first home buyers. He came up with some really amazing ideas for the design of our house and now that we are in it we couldn’t be more grateful. Our home is so beautiful and very well built with all the finishing. Although our build and pre construction did have massive delays and was frustrating at the time, we feel now that the wait was definitely worth it.

Please don't believe all these false reviews from people who either work for the company or others who haven't even started their build process yet. They are just at prestart.Contract November 2020 and I don't have a roof yet! What worse is they won't tell me when I'm getting one, or how long this nightmare is going to go on. I have had roof timbers on my property since July LAST YEAR (2022). that's 8 months since bricks were laid. Not one contractor had done any work since then.Calculate how much you have to pay rent and mortgage then multiply it by three, plus increased interest costs. I'll be doing this probably for another year. A total of OVER 3 YEARS since contract signing.Don't believe them. It is not 12 to 18 months to build your house. They just want more contacts to sign.They knew how many contracts they were signing back in 2020 but didn't care about making people homeless or how they were going to manage the workload. Why have they dropped brickie rates as of 1st of February 2023? Is that the behaviour of a company who wants to attract more trades to complete work? I started my building process with Smart Homes just over a year ago and its has been a great and enjoyable process. From the get go it was a great process Omar Khirzad was a great help and support. He guided me through everything and was able to make the pre building process smooth and exciting. He was quick to respond and no question was too big or too small and he always provided the answers to my questions. It has been a great process andthe Team at Smart Homes know how to get a house built!

Smart Homes has made my first home build an amazing experience from design to finish. Special thanks to:Tamati (Drafting Manager) for the countless hours he put into designing a beautiful place that I now call my home.Gordon (Sales Consultant) for being honest and going over all the details without harassing me for a signature on our first consultation (in fact it took three visits before I signed on the dotted line).Tess (Pre-Start Consultant) for giving me fantastic advice and understanding the modern look I was trying to achieve internally and externally through colour schemes, electrical layouts, etc.Tony (Site Supervisor) for his great sense of humour and friendly advice during each of the inspection phases.Kylie (Senior Client Liaison) for putting up with my regular email enquiries regarding issues that weren't really issues to begin with. Her friendly approach and prompt responses made it easy to comprehend the mechanics of the building industry.Why did I pick Smart Homes? Right price, right inclusions and the right people that knew what they were doing at an exemplary standard.

The two things that impressed me more than anything with Smarthomes was the effort that went into the prep with the sales guy, Rob Cole, and the pre-start consultant Karen Springer and the quality of the finishingAny home builder can get the bricks laid and the roof tiles put on, but the smarthomes finishing touches with the g-tek walls, stone top benches, and quality plumbing finishes have made this house a home that we are so happy to be in. Our favourite area is the kitchen & scullaundry that Rob helped us designDue to a change in family circumstances we are building again in a different suburb, but we have chosen to go back to Smarthomes, specifically we have chosen to use the same same sales consultant because he was so helpful last time - in fact he’s been even more helpful this time as we have this rapport going as repeat customers.The thing is, I know we won’t won’t be disappointed
