I would like to thank Simon Patrick and Commodore Homes for building my dream home.My house design is completely different from the plan Simon brought to me originally. Simon was flexible and understanding of my vision and allowed me to create a home that I am proud of.The process from start to finish really was stress free as the staff were attentive and really listened to what my needs were.My son and I have been in our home for 1 year now and couldn’t be happier with the result. 10 out of 10 Commodore thank you.

As soon as project moved to construction, communication became extremely poor. You have to chase them to get any updates and when we questioned some aspects of the build we were told lies. As clients, we go with a building company to benefit from their expertise however not what we experienced.Be careful before signing anything as once signatures are obtained they will play you. The plan and contract only works for the builder and when you call them out they will turn around and tell you it was a 'business decision' or even blame it on everyone ranging from developers, councils , product manufacturers, independent building inspectors and their own sales team.After countless conversations if you suceed at making your point, they will turn around and then decide to deliver on the promised quality build and somehow turn it around as if they are doing you a favour rather than the service you are paying them for.

We have just built with Commodore and couldn't be happier. Excellent advise from the sales consultant (Rob Wright) and the job was progressed smoothly by our wonderful supervisor (Clay Riches). The house was delivered a month ahead of time and the build quality is fantastic.

Worst experience anyone could ever go through in building experience. Very disappointed with their performances. As much as money is needed , it seems they are money minded and lack of customer/builder relationship.

Initially very good experience with them, prompt and timely feedback from consultants, information given as requested, relatively clear process.However once everything was signed off and the build actually commenced it's been akin to watching a turtle try and climb a tree, slow, painful, and frankly its probably not cut out for it.Multiple quality issues during the build process from INCREDIBLY shoddy brickwork (which to their credit, was MOSTLY fixed, but only AFTER I brought it to their attention), dodgy installation of electrical fittings as well as damage during construction to massive delays in actually building the place (market issues aside).Watching the house next door, (also a Commodore build) start 2 weeks prior to mine go up in a flash and the owners moved in before Christmas, while mine has sat as a skeleton, just bricks and roof framing now for over 8 weeks is disheartening, to say the least.There's also been a distinct lack of contact since I've started noting more issuesI've given an excessive amount of consideration to the boom and the strain it has placed on companies in writing this review however at this point over half the subdivision is built and most tenants moved in. Several builds through other companies have started and finished in the time it's taken to lazily slap my bricks down (then fix the issues caused by the workmanship) and butcher the walls installing electrical fittings which is incredibly disheartening when you've chosen a big group like BGC for their quality and access to quality trades etc.And the Cost overrun" variation is totally fair enough

Rob Wright has been an amazing consultant to deal with! He has been so helpful at helping us make the best decision for our new home. The whole experience has been amazing and fun. He has made building a house less stressful and would recommend him and Commodore homes to anyone and everyone :) thank you Rob!

We can highly recommend Robbie Wright. From the very start he advised us on the house that would be suitable for the land shape we had and gave us a choice of designs, all ranging in price but all fit our budget. He's really knowledgable about the build and designs, including how the designs can be altered to fit the need and lifestyle you want from the house. He's not pushy, as we found with other builders displays people that if we showed a little interest in the house then we got bombarded by phone calls and emails constantly. Robbie just offered his services and left us to think and take on board what had been said, but he was on hand if we needed any assistance or questions answering, no matter now daft them seemed. We are more than happy to recommend him if you're looking to build. Our service and guidance from him has been and still is second to none. Also Bethany at Prestart is an absolute star too. She guided us through the details, down the the tiniest little thing that we wouldn't have even thought about. Her attention to detail is top class and her knowledge of the designs and styling is outstanding. So far we are really happy with the process. Now just to see if the rest of the process lives up to the standard already set by these 2 superstars.

Darren Clarke was absolutely fantastic to deal with. He spoke too you as you were the only thing that mattered. He was very helpful and patient with us. When we went to Commodore head office they to were very helpful and gave us advice in a polite and friendly manner. The build so far has been great, they have sent photos and contacted me each step off the way. I would highly recommended Commodore homes.

Highly recommend building with Commodore Homes! Great service, quality home, with a wide array of selections. Allow the buyer to be involved at every step especially during the floor planning phase! Communication was on point and Shane has been an awesome sale representative who guided me throughout my building journey!

I visited numerous Display Homes for months, then I walked into the display home in Alkimos and just loved it. I then met Robert Wright who was so easy to talk to and he was very knowledgeable. I decided to build with Commodore because of Robert. He has helped me so much with my plans, even staying up to midnight to get it right for me. He is extremely patient and not only that he has looked after me and got me a good price. Highly recommend Rob, go say Hi to him he will help you out.
